Michigan State University is well-known for its academics and Big Ten athletics. Thankfully, MSU also has some great food options as well, for students, faculty and visitors. Here is a list of the best places to eat on campus at MSU.

Brody Square

First up: Michigan State University’s largest dining hall, Brody Square. Located in the Brody Neighborhood, this hall has plenty of options for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

The Edge

Serving those in the Owen Neighborhood, the Edge features many food options. In addition to its wide range of choices from pizza, pasta and more, it also has a salad bar, coffee station and desert section.

MSU Food Truck

Interested in a quick meal? The Michigan State food truck has tacos, sandwiches and salads, perfect for getting some protein before a big exam. It’s a great way to get a quick snack on the go.

Sparty’s Coffee Cart

We all need some caffeine every now and then. Thankfully, MSU has several campus cafés around. One of these cafés is called Sparty’s Coffee Cart, located outside of The Union. It’s perfect for grabbing a latte between classes or a bagel or pastry.

Off-Campus Options

There are plenty of options for students to grab a bite, including many off-campus options. For starters, Grand River Avenue is full of great selections including sit-down options such as Barrio or the Jolly Pumpkin, bars such as HopCat or The Riv and fast-food options such as Chipotle, Five Guys burgers and Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers.
